Terms

Terms of Service.

The rules for using Tacet, in plain language.

Last updated 2026-10-08

Agreement and eligibility

By selecting the agreement checkbox or using Tacet, you agree to these terms. Use Tacet only if you are at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Tacet is operated by Tacet (an early-stage company); contact shubhamjoshipro.mail@gmail.com.

Accounts, workspaces and teammates

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Data belongs to a workspace. Members join by invitation, are told whose workspace they are joining, and can leave it. Workspace members can export and delete the workspace's data. Keep access to your email and any workspace keys secure; you are responsible for activity under them.

Demo sandboxes

“Try the demo” needs no sign-in. Use sample data only. A demo sandbox is private to you and is deleted automatically 48 hours after it starts.

Your data and Work Maps

You own your data and the Work Maps built from it. You authorize Tacet and its sub-processors (listed on the security page) to process it to provide the service. Tacet does not train models on your data. You are responsible for reviewing exported maps.

Acceptable use

  • Capture and share only data you are authorized to share, on sites and for people you are authorized to observe. Obtain any required approvals before recording speech or work.
  • Do not submit special-category personal data (such as health records), credentials or payment-card data.
  • Do not use Tacet for unlawful surveillance, discrimination, unauthorized access or harmful activity.
  • Filtering of sensitive values reduces but does not guarantee removal.

AI guidance

Tacet's predictions, rules and coaching are AI-generated and can be wrong. They are provided without warranty. Review them before relying on them for business decisions. Tacet does not provide legal, financial or professional advice.

Service changes

The service is early-stage and may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. Material changes to these terms will be presented for renewed acceptance.

Termination, export and deletion

You may stop using Tacet at any time and delete your workspace in the app; deletion destroys its encryption key. You can download all workspace data as JSON first. We may suspend access for misuse or security reasons. See the privacy notice for retention.

Liability and statutory rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied as available, without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
